Absolutely โ many of our most effective students are already serving in churches or ministry organizations. The program will give you the theological vocabulary, scholarly tools, and organizational skills to lead with greater depth and credibility. Several students complete the degree while serving in part-time ministry roles.
Yes. The program is HLC Criterion 4 compliant and has been formally approved for implementation. The three capstone options โ particularly the Senior Thesis โ are designed to prepare graduates for admission to ATS-accredited seminaries such as Samford University's Beeson Divinity School, Memphis Theological Seminary, and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
The B.A. in Christian Studies is a 122-credit-hour degree. It typically takes four years to complete as a full-time student. Transfer credit policies apply โ contact the Office of Admissions to discuss transfer credit evaluation for prior college coursework.
Yes, concentration changes are possible, particularly early in your academic career. Speak with your academic advisor about the implications for your graduation timeline and course requirements.
