Complete the ABC online application. Include your personal statement, high school/college transcripts, and any required documents.

Apply for Financial Aid

Complete your FAFSA at studentaid.gov. Our Financial Aid office will work with you to maximize grants, scholarships, and aid packages.

Accept & Enroll

Receive your acceptance letter, confirm your enrollment, select your concentration, and join the ABC School of Christian Studies community.

Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA)

ABC participates in all federal financial aid programs. Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov to determine your eligibility for Pell Grants, subsidized/unsubsidized loans, and work-study.

ABC Scholarships & Grants

Arkansas Baptist College offers institutional scholarships for academically qualified students. Contact the Office of Financial Aid at (501) 420-1200 for current scholarship availability, eligibility requirements, and application materials.

Church & Denominational Aid

Many students receive financial support from their home churches and Baptist associations. Talk to your pastor about ministry education scholarships available through Arkansas Baptist State Convention and other denominational bodies.

A sincere interest in Christian ministry and a desire to grow in faith are what matter most. The program will help you develop your theological foundations wherever you are starting from.

Absolutely โ€” many of our most effective students are already serving in churches or ministry organizations. The program will give you the theological vocabulary, scholarly tools, and organizational skills to lead with greater depth and credibility. Several students complete the degree while serving in part-time ministry roles.

Yes. The program is HLC Criterion 4 compliant and has been formally approved for implementation. The three capstone options โ€” particularly the Senior Thesis โ€” are designed to prepare graduates for admission to ATS-accredited seminaries such as Samford University's Beeson Divinity School, Memphis Theological Seminary, and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

The B.A. in Christian Studies is a 122-credit-hour degree. It typically takes four years to complete as a full-time student. Transfer credit policies apply โ€” contact the Office of Admissions to discuss transfer credit evaluation for prior college coursework.
